In September 2015, a group of women decided to trek for four days through the Presidential Traverse of New Hampshire’s White Mountains (USA). I won’t lie – it was pretty tough going. We sweated, we cursed, we wondered why we were doing this. But we also laughed, reveled in the beauty of Mother Nature, and above all, bonded together as a team. Here is the daily journal about, as one of the ladies put it, “mounting multiple presidents”.

Day One: Highland Centre Lodge to Lake of the Clouds Hut

Day Two: Lake of the Clouds Hut to Madison Spring Hut

Day Three: Rest Day at Madison Spring Hut

Day Four: Madison Spring Hut to Joe Dodge Lodge at Pinkham Notch
