Hiking in Trinidad

I am originally from Trinidad and for years, I had wanted to hike in my birth country. But whenever I was there for a visit, I had a really hard time finding anyone who wanted to go – and going solo just was not a good idea considering Trinidad’s crime rate. Finally, however, my luck has changed over the past few years. The hikes listed here are special to me precisely because they are a combination of a passion of mine (hiking), Trinidad, and the manifestation of a long held dream coming to pass. From now on, every time I go to Trinidad and manage to complete a hike, it will be listed here.
