In Ontario, Canada, one of the signs that summer is coming to an end is the start of “The Ex” in Toronto. It’s one of the last big hurrahs before school starts and autumn creeps in. The Canadian National Exhibition (aka The Ex), the largest fair in Canada, runs for over two weeks and it is cliché “fun for the whole family” things. Clichéd yet it actually is fun. There is food, midway with rides, entertainment, shows, music, exhibits, arts and crafts, shopping. I went this past weekend for an afternoon and while crowded (it was opening weekend), it was a ton of fun. The only thing that would have made the day perfect was if I had won one of those giant Minions. Ah well… I consoled myself with funnel cake (pastry, ice cream, strawberry sauce, icing sugar).

I hope you ate the funnel cake AFTER you enjoyed the whirling rides and roller coaster!
LOL yup! that would not have been pretty otherwise, ahaha!
You made me miss Canada 😀
